Head Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Jose Peseiro has released a list of the invited players for the international friendly against Portugal on the 17th of November, and it was announced by the Nigeria Football Federation’s Communications Department today.
The list is full of the usual foreign-based players that have represented Nigeria such as captain William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi and Francis Uzoho with the exception of first timers Bruno Onyemaechi and Bright Osayi Samuel.
Oghenekaro Etebo, Tyrone Ebuehi, Paul Onuachu and Olisa Ndah are also making a return to the team after a long time out.
The upcoming friendly will be the first meeting between both countries at senior level, and it is one of the pre-World Cup matches to be played by the Portuguese team led by Cristiano Ronaldo.
The international friendly game between the Eagles and Portugal will take place inside the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon, Portugal and will kick off at 6.45pm Portugal time which is 7.45pm in Nigeria.
