The Government of La Pampa announced the creation of the Trustee of the Federal Investment Council SAU (CFI SAU) and the Public Guarantee Fund Trust of the Federal Investment Council, with assets in the Risk Fund of $6,000 million. The decision was made jointly with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of La Pampa, which participated in the Permanent Board and the Assembly.
In the next few days, the pertinent inscriptions will begin with the regulation and control organisms of these institutions for their operationalization.
These new entities are creations with similar characteristics to those that the Province, Fiduciaria La Pampa SAPEM and the Pampean Guarantees Trust (FoGaPam) already have. The importance lies mainly in the possibility of expanding the guarantees currently granted by the fund from $32,500,000 to the sum of $300,000,000 per SME, which will be granted jointly with the Fund recently created by CFI.
In this case, projects that the province considers strategic and that due to lack of guarantees cannot access the Financial System or can achieve the necessary additionality for their realization will be guaranteed.
The assembly supported the initiative aimed at strengthening the role of the Federal Investment Council, as a strategic partner of the provinces in the creation of institutions and policies aimed at expanding access to credit, favoring the provincial financial ecosystem.
